silent month

blog's been dormant this past month. mainly due to two reasons:
a) too much work to be done, AND
b) more work to be done.

although my rant meter has been running high lately, i haven't really found time to just sit and write (and complain). weekends included. that's because i haven't had a single free weekend--working 7 days a week--during the past month and a half. and it was only a matter of time before i actually started feeling weary from having to get up daily at an hour usually reserved for dawn masses. thankfully, i have this weekend for now. but it's damn too short to compensate for the ones that dissipated from my life. the coming week opens a new series of busy weekends, enough to sour my mood while others plan for their out-of-town trips in anticipation for the november 1 holiday.

on other things... mercury's been dropping. seems like christmas weather drifted in earlier than usual this year. and it's not yet even halloween! a trip to sagada would just be perfect with this climate. if only an escape plan could be drafted...
